Beneath our society, a war has been raging. Two factions have drawn an invisible line and stand on either side, defending their honor -- nay, the honor of the leaders their philosophy is based upon. It is a debate so fierce that the very mention of it will turn the most rational adult into an angry, spewing wreck, and every level-headed nerd into, well, an
angry nerd.
And those are the worst kinds of nerd.
I'm talking about a debate that has plagued the civility of our world for more than two decades:

I’ve noticed an interesting trend: A lot of blogs like to regurgitate other blogs’ topics. Annoying, yes. But what’s more annoying is the latest topic that's making the rounds. It's the resolutions for having a healthy writing life in 2012.
I’m naturally interested in such a list because I want to be a more productive, more successful writer in the new year. My goals for 2012 involve writing a couple more Vote Your Adventure stories, blogging a bit more frequently, and releasing a novel. Maybe two. I’ve got my work cut out for me, so I was naturally compelled to click a few of these links to find out how I can be a better writer. 
Online role-playing video games are like relationships: sometimes you're serious about one, sometimes you play the field, and other times no one really strikes your fancy so you're between games.
I'm currently between online games, so I decided to look around and see what was available. I want to be entertained yet I don't want to commit, so I was specifically looking at free games. 
I play video games. And yes, I am a girl.
I've been playing video games since the day my parents brought home an Atari 2600. My brother and I made forts in the den, rolled out our sleeping bags, and played Pac Man all night long. From that day on, I was hooked. The fact that I became an avid gamer at such a young age still astounds me because my parents have always been technologically challenged. Case in point, they only got cable television five years ago.
